Our Under 14 Girls vs North Bristol

This Sunday our under 14 girls along with our Cotswold Lioness partners, took on North Bristol for the first home game of the season.

The first half was quite a tough one for our girls, North Bristol were a very well drilled side and clearly have been playing together for some time.
During the second half however, our girls really came back into the game. There was some great work in the breakdown, protecting the ball on every occasion and quick ball out. Along with this, our backs managed a good few line breaks, only to be scuppered by some very good last ditch tackling from the visiting team.

Over all it was a very determined performance from a group of girls who haven't been together long, they never gave up and played to the final whistle with their heads held high.

The girls along with our under 12 and 16s travel this week to play Chipping Sodbury away.

The Cotswold Lionesses are a collective of clubs, who have decided that playing and training together will provide all of our girls the opportunity to get plenty of experience and quality sessions, until we have grown to stand on our own two feet.
The Cotswold Lionesses are Minchinhampton, Swindon Supermarine, Cirencester, Cainscross and Faringdon
