Social events
Our clubhouse provides a fabulous alternative venue to hold a celebration. We've hosted birthday parties of all ages, weddings and wakes!
With ample parking, kitchen facilities, wifi and a sound system we have all you need to host a memorable event
Sporting events
Well it makes sense given we're a rugby club. The grounds are currently used by an outside keep fit company three mornings a week and we've also hosted kids sports clubs in the school holidays. We are always open to other ways our space can be used to promote sport and wellbeing.
Corporate events
Want to hold a meeting or a corporate social event then look no further than our club. With two large TVs and an AV system you can run your meetings from a lovely location and get away from the office. Want to run a team day then the outside space lends itself perfectly to that.
Features
Bar and catering facilities
It wouldn't be a rugby club without a bar and for special event we can bring in a barrel or two! We have an Aga, several freezers and fridges to enable you to provide food and drink for any occasion.
Changing Rooms
If you want to hire the club for sporting events we have three sets of changing rooms which you can use as part of the hire cost.
Free parking
At Minch, we have ample parking and can easily accommodate 200 vehicles on site. The only thing we ask is that you ask your guests to drive away quietly in consideration of our neighbours.
Catering partners
We work with several local companies who cater for all types of functions - from a cheeky cream tea through to silver service three course meals. So if you want to work with folk who know how our club works we'd be delighted to put you in touch.
Free Wi-Fi
We know how important it is to stay in touch and be connected! We have our own Wi-Fi at the club and this is provided to anyone who wishes to hire the club for any kind of event.
AV System
To ensure your meeting or event has sound and visuals we have an AV system as the club. You can listen to music, use the TVs to project images or presentations and should you need to talk to a larger audience we also have microphones.
