Volunteering for Minchinhampton RFC

At Minch we are a totally volunteer club and rely on our amazing group of volunteers to run our club, coach and manage our teams and chip in to ensure the club runs smoothly.

At Minch we think of ourselves as a family who care about our club and the players we are developing.

Join the Minch Family

Anyone who joins our club automatically becomes a volunteer and parents of our Mini  and Junior players are also volunteers. They take their share of serving in the club house on Sunday mornings; making up bacon rolls and pouring tea and coffee - especially welcome on a cold winters morning.

Our coaches in the Mini and Junior Section are mums and dads who love their rugby and want to pass on their passion and their skills to the next generation. Each age group has a team manager who helps to run that age group and ensure parents have a 'go to' person.

We have volunteers who sort out tours for their age group and first aid and mental first aid volunteers who are there to help any player who is injured.

Our final volunteer is Lottie, our support dog, who is there for any player who needs a good listener and someone to hug!

In Senior and Touch sections players help out with food preparation after a match, help run the bar and take their turn in ensuring kit is washed!

More Volunteers needed!

There is always so much to do to keep a club like ours going. Whether it's maintaining the buildings and the pitches, running events and raising money, or joining one of our committees. If you have more time to offer and skills that we could put to good use - do let us know and we will gladly put you to work!
