This Years Colt's Winners

All good things come to an end and in June we held our leaving celebration for our U18 Colts - five of whom joined Minch RFC as U6's.(Seth Turkington, Oscar Turkington, Patrick Bell, Billy Payne & Laurence Lee). It was also an evening to honour their coaches; Alan Halling who started with this age group as an U6 coach, John Sparkhall who joined a few years later and Steve Ingram who has been Team Manager for many years.

These young men have had the most amazing year of rugby culminating in a local darby with Stroud, where they played like men possessed and won. A fitting end to their time as Minchinhampton Colts. Joe Medd Finn - transition coach for Colts and first team Co-Captain welcomed the Colts to join the Seniors - stating no matter where they go there will always be a welcome for them in the clubhouse and on the pitch.

This year's winners of the Club trophies were Seth Turkington - Spirit of Minch, Ed Percival - Most Improved Player and Billy Payne - Player of the Year. Congratulations!
