GMS: Game Management System

The Game Management System (GMS) is the RFU's central database through which players (and club members) are registered and pay their club membership subscriptions. Coaches and referees are registered and their training records maintained, fixtures are arranged and results recorded (for the 15-a-side game only) and much, much more.

Using GMS ensures that parents and players are in control of their own data and unique individual record through their lifetime in rugby. It provides more consistent, accurate and up-to-date information for clubs and the RFU to help players and parents enjoy their Age Grade Rugby and transition into the adult game.

This is a two stage process which must be completed every season:

Register your details (and, for Mini and Junior parents, your child(ren)'s details).
Important: Player Registration will not complete until you validate your email address.
Purchase your Club Membership for the season. This is separate from and independent of Player Registration.

Annual Affiliation

The RFU remove all player affiliations at the end of the season so players must re-affiliate to show as a current player of the club through GMS.
Re-affiliation is normally open from 1st July and a reminder is automated by the RFU to remind parents.

All players must “Register to Play” to the club through GMS by the start of the season or prior to that if they are taking part in pre-season training.
In order to comply with RFU Rugbysafe guideline, if this process hasn’t been completed then the player will not be able to take part until “Register to Play” is complete.

Logging in - New Members and Players

Register on the GMS here
Emails will be sent to parents of all existing players that includes their username. You will need to request forgot password and then set your own unique password.
Keep your login credentials safe, you will need them again.
Parents/carers/guardians are now required by the RFU to update the system to complete important information in the form of consents e.g. photograph, medical, next of kin, etc.

Please do not create a new account in the event you have problems accessing your existing account.

Lost login details

Don't know your GMS login credentials? Follow the Lost Password procedure on the GMS Login Page or, if that doesn't work, ask your Team Manager or the club GMS expert John Atkins.
